What is glamping?
Glamping is a new form of camping where luxury and nature go hand in hand. Imagine taking the comfort of a hotel outdoors, where you and your partner can enjoy the beauty of nature without compromising on convenience. The word 'glamping' is a blend of 'glamorous' and 'camping'.
What makes glamping so special? It's the chance to experience nature up close while still having access to the luxury amenities normally found in a hotel or at home. At Bamsebo Camping, we take the concept to a new level with our glamping package tour. We take care of everything from start to finish, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a unique holiday that combines the best of two worlds: the tranquility of nature and the comfort of a hotel.

Glamping at the Gudenå

Glamping with children

Your 3-day package goes as follows:
Day 1
Arrival at Bamsebo Camping.
Report your arrival at the reception in order to pick up your lifejackets, and empty your car for all the belongings that you want in your tent, so you don't need to carry it while sailing.
(If you have requested car delivery, please leave a spare key at the reception)
Drive to Tange Elværk (The energy museum) in your own car, the canoe will be ready for sail upon arrival. The journey is approx. 12 km and takes around 3 hours to complete. During your journey, you will pass by Bjerringbro og Kjællinghøl campsite where it is possible to have a break.
At the journey's end you will arrive at Bamsebo Camping, go to the reception and pick up the key for your glamping tent. You are now free to relax, so play a round of minigolf, jump in the outdoor pool, or sit back on your terrace with a nice glass of wine
Day 2
Go to the reception before the departure to Langå.
(If you have requested car delivery, you will receive your spare key from yesterday)
You will now sail towards Langå - (Amtmands Hoppes Bro) - The journey is approx. 11 km. and takes around 3 hours to complete.
(If you have requested car delivery, your car will be parked at the destination)
During the journey you will pass a couple scenic spots where you can enjoy a packed lunch or relax.
Upon arrival at Amtmands Hoppes Bro in Langå, you will drag the canoe onto the shore and contact us to let us know how the journey went, before you drive back to Bamsebo Camping.
Day 3
After a good night's sleep, go to the reception in order to check out and return the tent key. Your mini vacation is now coming to an end.
Perhaps you would like to finish it with a round of minigolf and one of our popular Bamsebo ice creams.
The 3-day package from Bamsebo Camping contains the following:
- 24 km. of canoeing on Gudenåen split across 2 days.
- Life jackets
- 2 nights in a glamping tent
- Wi-Fi code for the site
- 1 round of minigolf on our beautiful minigolf course
- Bicycle rental at Bamsebo Camping, in order to buy groceries from Ulstrup (2,5 km from the camp)
The 2-person and 4-person glamping tents contains the following:
- Genuine beds, a fridge, table and chairs
- Eating and serving utensils
- Terrace with a parasol and a ball grill
- Electricity inside the tent
BE ADVISED
It is not allowed to bring your own heat-system.
The tent is non-smoking, pets are allowed.
Bring your own towel, duvet, pillow, sleeping bag and linen or rent it.
Car delivery can be requested as an additional purchase.
Payment terms and conditions
A confirmed booking can not be terminated and/or changed by the renter.
- Cancellations that are at least 60 days in advance of the arrival date, will be refunded, however, a fee of 350 DKK will be deducted from the total amount. Any total amount less than 400 DKK will not be refunded.
- If you cancel your stay within 60 days of the arrival date, you will not be refunded.
Bookings can not be handed over to third parties, and can not be reassigned to another date. Shortened stays and/or a lower number of occupants are not admissible to any form of compensation.
Guests are not exempted from paying rental costs, if the guests due to force majeure, (War, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, border shut downs and things alike) are prevented in exercising their rights in accordance with the terms and conditions of the booking.

At Bamsebo Camping, we are located close to several major cities in the East Jutland region, including Silkeborg, Aarhus, Randers, and Viborg. Our campground is the perfect starting point for exploring the different parts of Jutland and visiting these nearby cities with their many attractions and activities.
