Below you will find useful information regarding the use of our online booking system. You can read about how we handle the personal information you enter, how you receive your receipt after a purchase, and much more. Where the term BAMSEBO is used below, it refers to Bamsebo Camping, Canoe and Fishing at the Gudenå River.
Special Requests for Pitch/Site
BAMSEBO reserves the right to change specific booking preferences made by the customer, but will endeavour to the greatest extent possible to ensure that the allocated pitch is in the same area as the one requested.
Payment
All prices listed in the BAMSEBO online booking system, as well as elsewhere on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all charges, unless otherwise stated and clearly indicated in the relevant situation.
Payment is made using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards in the online booking system, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners. No surcharge is applied to transactions made through the online booking system.
Information About Shopping Online
You can shop safely online through our booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against potential misuse of your credit card online, meaning there is no excess liability in the event of misuse of your payment card via the internet. Dispatch and Delivery
Upon booking and payment of a cabin, a rental tent, a pitch for your own tent, or a pitch for your own caravan, you will be presented with a contract from BAMSEBO detailing the specifics of your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after the booking is completed, and will also be sent by email immediately after purchase, provided a correct email address has been supplied by the buyer.
Delivery of the booked product takes place upon arrival at BAMSEBO on the arrival date (and concludes upon departure on the departure date). Both of these times are stated in the aforementioned contract.
Right of Withdrawal and Refund
You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:
Bookings for stays at campsites are not covered by the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Act, as the rental of temporary accommodation for holiday purposes is exempt pursuant to the Consumer Contracts Act § 18, subsection 2, point 12.
A confirmed booking can not be terminated and/or changed by the renter.
- If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, the amount paid will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of DKK 350.
However, payments of less than DKK 400 will not be refunded.
- If you cancel less than 60 days before arrival, you will forfeit the entire amount paid.
• The booking cannot be transferred to a third party and cannot be rebooked. Any shortening of the stay and/or reduction in the number of guests does not entitle the customer to compensation.
The customer is not released from the obligation to pay the rental fee if the customer is prevented from exercising the right of use granted by the booking due to force majeure (war, strike, natural disasters, epidemic, border closures and similar circumstances).
Registration of Information
BAMSEBO registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer records. This information is not passed on to third parties, but BAMSEBO retains the registration for 5 years.
BAMSEBO uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to protect the information you submit on the site.
Payment by credit card is processed via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being transmitted over the internet.
Complaints
If for any reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you may contact us at the address or phone number below.
Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself, or the product (the stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the fault, or after you ought to have discovered it upon normal review of your contract. Complaints may be made in writing or verbally. One year after receipt of the goods (the stay), the right to complain expires pursuant to the Sale of Goods Act § 83, subsection 1, unless otherwise agreed.
When BAMSEBO receives your complaint regarding a product, it will be processed as quickly as possible. BAMSEBO will determine whether the product received should be refunded, exchanged, or whether a price reduction should be granted.
