We provide a canoe, life jackets and a comfortable tent, so you just have to pack the necessary things and look forward to three days of experiences, relaxation and time together.

What is glamping?
Glamping is a form of holiday where the natural experiences of camping are combined with more comfortable surroundings. The word is a combination of the words "glamorous" and "camping".
Instead of bringing and pitching your own tent, you can move directly into a furnished glamping tent with real beds, electricity, a refrigerator, furniture and dishes. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, peace and quiet of the campsite without missing out on the practical comforts.
At Bamsebo Camping, glamping can be combined with a canoe trip on the Gudenå River. This gives you a complete mini-vacation where both accommodation and activities are planned in advance.
Our glamping tents are ready from the Ascension Day holiday until the first weekend in September.

Glamping at the Gudenå
Bamsebo Camping is located directly by the Gudenå River and therefore forms an ideal setting for a holiday with canoeing, nature and relaxation.
On the canoe trip you will sail through the East Jutland landscape, where you will have the opportunity to take breaks, have lunch and enjoy the view along the way. When the day's stage is over, your glamping tent will be waiting at the campsite.
Here you can relax on the terrace, cook on the grill, take a dip in the outdoor pool or challenge each other on the mini golf course. In the evening, you can retreat to the tent and sleep in a real bed before the next day's adventures begin.
Glamping with children
Glamping is also a cozy way to vacation for families with children. You get many of the experiences that come with a camping vacation, but you don't have to bring and set up a tent yourself.
Our 4-person glamping tents have two separate sleeping cabins with a double bed in each, providing plenty of space for both children and adults.
At Bamsebo Camping, the family can, among other things:
- Canoeing on the Gudenå River
- Playing mini golf
- Swim in the outdoor pool
- Enjoy meals and relaxation on the tent's terrace
- Explore the nature around the campsite
The canoe trip takes place at a leisurely pace, and there is the opportunity to take breaks along the way. All participants are given life jackets before departure.
A 3-day glamping package includes
When you book the glamping package at Bamsebo Camping, you get a combined experience with both a canoe trip and overnight accommodation.
The package includes:
- Two-day canoe trip on the Gudenå River
- Approximately 23-24 kilometers of canoeing
- Canoe and life jackets
- To overnatninger i glampingtelt
- Wi-Fi code at the campsite
- One game of mini golf on our mini golf course

Day 1: From Tange to Bamsebo Camping
Upon arrival at Bamsebo Camping, please contact reception, where you will be given life jackets for the canoe trip.
You have the option of emptying the car of the luggage you need in the glamping tent. That way you don't have to bring the luggage in the canoe.
If you have ordered the car to be moved, you will hand in an extra car key at reception.
Then you drive in your own car to Tangeværket at the Energy Museum, where the canoe is ready. The canoe trip from Tange to Bamsebo Camping is approximately 12 kilometers and takes about three hours.
Along the way, you will sail past Bjerringbro and the tent site at Kjællinghøl, where you can take a break.
When you arrive at Bamsebo Camping, you check in at the reception and are given the key to the glamping tent. The rest of the day you can relax, take a dip in the pool, play mini golf or enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace.
Day 2: From Bamsebo Camping to Langå
Before departure, please contact reception. If you have ordered the car to be moved, you will be given the car key.
Dagens kanotur går fra Bamsebo Camping til Amtmand Hoppes Bro i Langå. Turen er cirka 11 kilometer og tager omkring tre timer.
Along the way, you can find a quiet place where you can have lunch or take a break in nature.
Upon arrival at Amtmand Hoppes Bro, pull the canoe onto land and contact Bamsebo Camping to let them know that you have arrived.
If you have ordered the car to be moved, it will be ready at the end of the trip. You will then drive back to Bamsebo Camping and can enjoy your last evening in the glamping tent.
Day 3: Relaxation and return home
After a good night's sleep, you check out at the reception and hand over the key to the tent.
Before heading home, you can end your stay with a game of mini golf or one of our popular Bamsebo ice creams.
Choose between glamping tents for 2 or 4 people
We offer both glamping suites for two people and larger glamping tents with space for four people.
Glamping suite for 2 people
The glamping suites G.9 and G.10 are designed for two people and are an obvious choice for a couple's stay at Gudenåen.
The tents contain a large double bed, duvets and pillows, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, crockery, pots and pans, electricity, a large terrace, lounge furniture and a sunbed and charcoal grill.
You must bring your own bed linen, towels, tea towels and dishcloths, washing-up liquid and garbage bags.
Linen and other practical items can be rented or purchased when booking.
Glamping tent for 4 people
Glamping tents G.1-G.8 can accommodate four people. The tents are furnished with two separate sleeping cabins, each containing a double bed.
The tents contain two double beds, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, dishes, pots and pans, electricity, a terrace with a table and chairs and a charcoal grill.
You must bring your own duvets and pillows, bed linen, towels, tea towels and dishcloths, washing-up liquid and garbage bags.
Duvets, pillows, linen and other practical items can be rented or purchased when booking.
The campsite's service buildings are used for toilet visits, bathing and cooking.

Check-in: 3:00 PM-9:00 PM. Check-out: Kl. 08.00-10.00
All tents are non-smoking. Pets are allowed in the tents.
The tents have electricity, but it is not permitted to bring and use your own fan heaters.
What is the cost of glamping?
Den endelige pris afhænger blandt andet af antallet af deltagere, valg af telt og eventuelle tilkøb. Du kan se vores aktuelle priser under booking.
Payment terms and conditions
A confirmed booking can not be terminated and/or changed by the renter.
- Cancellations that are at least 60 days in advance of the arrival date, will be refunded, however, a fee of 350 DKK will be deducted from the total amount. Any total amount less than 400 DKK will not be refunded.
- If you cancel your stay within 60 days of the arrival date, you will not be refunded.
Bookings can not be handed over to third parties, and can not be reassigned to another date. Shortened stays and/or a lower number of occupants are not admissible to any form of compensation.
The customer is not released from the obligation to pay the rental fee if the customer is prevented from exercising the right of use granted by the booking due to force majeure (war, strike, natural disasters, epidemic, border closures and similar circumstances).
